The Department of Emergency Management has contracted with CodeRED to provide a free and valuable service to the entire tribal community.  With a click of a button, you’ll be able to subscribe to CodeRED Weather Warning so that you’ll always know when dangerous weather conditions are about to occur.

How it works:  CodeRED Weather Warning delivers severe weather alerts directly to a home telephone within seconds after the warning is issued by the National Weather Service.  Subscribers to CodeRED Weather Warning will receive these messages any time severe weather threatens their local area, thus providing valuable extra time to prepare.

Since its introduction, Weather Warning has saved numerous lives and helped people take the necessary actions to protect their property in advance of approaching adverse weather conditions.  Severe thunderstorms, tropical storms, flash floods and tornadoes are among the numerous types of dangerous weather systems that Weather Warning has notified residents about.
